In addition to his recordings, Kodac Harrison has toured the world including 7 tours of Europe. On this fourth part, Kodac Harrison shares his story with an in-depth interview, accompanying solo acoustic/vocal performances as well as spoken word poetry performance. Kodac Harrison is originally from Jackson, Georgia. He has lived in New Orleans, Texas, California, New York City and West Virginia. All of those places have influenced his music, which he calls Beatnik Blues. He is a singer-songwriter, recording artist, poet and acoustic guitarist. Kodac Harrison has released 14 recordings and performs solo and with a band ranging from 3 to 10 pieces. His music has been featured in motion pictures and he has done voice over work for Turner South and Turner Classic Movies. Kodac Harrison has made 7 tours of Europe and has performed for President Jimmy Carter. Kodac Harrison joins us for an in-depth interview as well as music and spoken-word poetry performances. Along with the performance, we play key selections from his expansive discography to paint the picture of one of the most talented songwriters we've ever had the opportunity to profile.

Shawn Williams lives in Georgia (for a little while longer) and is a radio personality. She is an up and coming actor having been featured in the music video format. She is the founder and guitarist of The Pelvis Breastlies, the world's foremost all female Elvis Presley Tribute Band.

In this conversation, Shawn shared the story of her unique and adventurous life. They sipped coffee while birds chirped and the sun shined. All was right with the world. Enjoy!

Santo and Johnny were the duo of brothers who brought the #1 instrumental song "Sleepwalk" to the world. Johnny Farina continues to keep the flame of Santo and Johnny burning by performing and recording.
"Sleep Walk" was recorded at Trinity Music in Manhattan. "Sleep Walk" entered Billboard's Top 40 on August 17, 1959. It rose to the number-one position for two weeks in September (the 21st and the 28th) and remained in the Top 40 until November 9. "Sleep Walk" also reached number four on the R&B chart.[3] It was the last instrumental to hit number one in the 1950s and earned Santo & Johnny a gold record.
The song has been featured in countless motion pictures, television commercials and on the radio. It is playing continuously somewhere on the planet with MILLIONS of spins. It is our great pleasure to welcome back Santo and Johnny's Johnny Farina!

Santo and Johnny were an Italian-American rock 'n roll duo from Brooklyn, best known for their song "Sleepwalk." "Sleepwalk" is an instrumental steel guitar-based song recorded in 1959. It has been called by many the most famous instrumental song of all time having been featured on radio, television, movies and in commercials. Countless versions have been recorded by many artists. In 1999, "Sleepwalk" earned BMI's Millionaire Award symbolizing 2 million airplays on the radio. In 2002, Santo and Johnny were inducted into the International Steel Guitar Hall of Fame.
Our special guest is Johnny Farina. Johnny Farina has a gold record for not only "Sleepwalk," but also the Santo and Johnny cover of the theme song for "The Godfather." It is with great pleasure we welcome a true legend who continues to perform and record to this day. The one and only Johnny Farina!
