Listen now to the Johnny Farina Special (Part 1)

Santo and Johnny were an Italian-American rock 'n roll duo from Brooklyn, best known for their song "Sleepwalk." "Sleepwalk" is an instrumental steel guitar-based song recorded in 1959. It has been called by many the most famous instrumental song of all time having been featured on radio, television, movies and in commercials. Countless versions have been recorded by many artists. In 1999, "Sleepwalk" earned BMI's Millionaire Award symbolizing 2 million airplays on the radio. In 2002, Santo and Johnny were inducted into the International Steel Guitar Hall of Fame.
Our special guest is Johnny Farina. Johnny Farina has a gold record for not only "Sleepwalk," but also the Santo and Johnny cover of the theme song for "The Godfather." It is with great pleasure we welcome a true legend who continues to perform and record to this day. The one and only Johnny Farina!
