Kodac Harrison is a renowned singer-songwriter, recording artist, poet, spoken word artist, painter and acoustic guitarist. He has released many live and studio records. 2011 celebrates 30 years of his recorded works which began with the 1981 EP entitled simply "Kodac." His most recent studio album "Dreams and Nightmares" received positive critical acclaim. This was followed by his most recent live album "Reach for the Moon." Currently, Kodac Harrison is working on a retrospective book of his lyrics and poetry which is tentatively entitled The Tortoise and the Hare. In addition to his recordings, Kodac Harrison has toured the world including 7 tours of Europe. On this fourth part, Kodac Harrison shares his story with an in-depth interview, accompanying solo acoustic/vocal performances as well as spoken word poetry performance. Kodac Harrison is originally from Jackson, Georgia. He has lived in New Orleans, Texas, California, New York City and West Virginia. All of those places have influenced his music, which he calls Beatnik Blues. He is a singer-songwriter, recording artist, poet and acoustic guitarist. Kodac Harrison has released 14 recordings and performs solo and with a band ranging from 3 to 10 pieces. His music has been featured in motion pictures and he has done voice over work for Turner South and Turner Classic Movies. Kodac Harrison has made 7 tours of Europe and has performed for President Jimmy Carter. Kodac Harrison joins us for an in-depth interview as well as music and spoken-word poetry performances.
