The interview was recorded in Beverly Hills, California at the home of Elliot Mintz. Your host Paul Leslie had flown from Atlanta to Los Angeles to interview Mintz after years of correspondence. In the past, Elliot Mintz was a radio and television personality having interviewed over 2,000 people ranging from Mick Jagger, Timothy Leary, R. D. Laing, Jack Nicholson, Donovan, Salvador Dali, Joan Baez, and a couple who would change his life. Yoko Ono and John Lennon. John Lennon and Yoko Ono became friends with Elliot Mintz. As a publicist, he went on to represent Yoko Ono and the Estate of John Lennon and a long list of other celebrities including Boby Dylan, Christie Brinkley, Paris Hilton, Diana Ross, Don Johnson, Melanie Griffith and many others. From 1988 to 1992 he hosted "The Lost Lennon Tapes," a radio program featuring rare and unreleased recordings of John Lennon as well as interviews with John Lennon. The show had millions of listeners every week.
