Kodac Harrison is originally from Jackson, Georgia. He has lived in New Orleans, Texas, California, New York City and West Virginia. All of those places have influenced his music, which he calls Beatnik Blues. He is a singer-songwriter, recording artist, poet and acoustic guitarist. Kodac Harrison has released 14 recordings and performs solo and with a band ranging from 3 to 10 pieces. His music has been featured in motion pictures and he has done voice over work for Turner South and Turner Classic Movies. Kodac Harrison has made 7 tours of Europe and has performed for President Jimmy Carter. Kodac Harrison joins us for an in-depth interview as well as music and spoken-word poetry performances. Along with the performance, we play key selections from his expansive discography to paint the picture of one of the most talented songwriters we've ever had the opportunity to profile.
